PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE  

The second year of our new configuration and we are looking forward to a more settled year. Retaining basically all of last year’s staff is a real bonus and we are looking forward to the continuity that this will bring. Our focus this year will be to support every student in the school in as many ways as possible. By planning collaboratively we hope to intervene where necessary as soon as possible. One example will be the student tutorials that will occur between staff and students on the early dismissal Tuesdays as well as there being a homework club to support students. Last year was our first year at grade10 Provincial exams and the above provincial average scores are extremely encouraging. We now need to build on this to ensure our students move onto senior high with as much success as possible.

In order to recognise our renewed focus on support for students we have changed our school motto to read “Respect and Support for All.”
