Keeping the School web page up to date Walking/Wheeling Wednesday crossing guard / assistance Lunch supervision assistant (our only paid position ... $15 / week, 1 hour / day) Classroom lunch eating attendant Safe arrival clerk (1 day / week for about an hour) Support-a-Reader Math helper Guest art instructor Coach / Assistant coach P.E. equipment manager / repair person Track and Field Meet assistant (for May 14/2010 ... a.m., p.m., or both ... 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) Fun Fair planning committee (PAC organized fundraiser) FUN FAIR helper/worker Recycling beverage container coordinator (PAC organized fundraiser) Hot lunch helper (PAC organized fundraiser) Before school activity supervisor Classroom student support Gardener Before school computer lab supervisor / computer care coordinator School P.R. person (e.g. write school reports for The Rural Shopper paper each month) Mini-electives activity instructor (Do you have a certain talent or hobby to share with our students?) Drivers for class field trips DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING THAT INTERESTS YOU? Perhaps you have something else you'd like to do at Huband! We are open to suggestions! :-)VOLUNTEER DRIVER INFORMATION
We require the following information from volunteer parent drivers for our records in the office prior to the day of the event:
1. A current copy of your valid car insurance.
2. A current copy of your valid driver’s license.
3. An ICBC Driver’s Abstract: We require a renewed copy each year. You can renew it by phoning 1-888-715-7775, select menu #2. Ask ICBC to fax it to Huband Park Elementary School at 250-338-6533.
4. Volunteer Driver Form: to be completed and returned to your child’s teacher. SEE THE LINK BELOW FOR THIS FORM.
