Good Afternoon Everyone…..the ILC showcase will soon be here (May 15 in Parksville) and we have been meeting to plan the day.  I have attached two documents on the menu at the left. One is entitled "Showcase 2009 DRAFT Agenda" which outlines the day ….the other is entitled "Showcase 2009 DRAFT Carousel" which describes the 15 and 30 minute presentations and their locations.

As you can see, we have 4 slots left for anyone who would like to do a presentation. I have emailed district contacts and if you are unsure if you are presenting in the afternoon please contact me at allan.douglas@sd71.bc.ca.

There may be some questions from the ILC participants about the format for the day….it is actually quite simple and relaxed and we wanted to give some extra time for participants to view and share project work.  This is the format:

1.  8:30 to 9:30 ILC participants will set up their projects (we have allocated 2 projects per table and we know that some of you require electricity (please bring extension cords) followed by refreshments and informal networking.

2.  9:30 to 10:45 - see the document on the left menu as described above.

3.  10:45 to 12:15 Showcase - the ILC participants will be divided into two groups (A and B)….the A people will remain at their projects from 10:45 to 11:30 while the B people circulate ….at 11:30 the B people will remain at their projects while the A people circulate.

4.  12:15 to 1:00 - lunch

5.  1:00 to 2:30 - These are the showcase 15 and 30 minute presentations (see second attachment)

6.  2:30 to 3:30 - Again, see the agenda on the left.

We look forward to a great showcase and more information will be posted as we near the date.
